About Us

Is a vibrant, faith-filled parish rooted in prayer, service, and community. We strive to live the Gospel through worship, outreach, and meaningful connections within our parish and the wider community.

A special part of our parish life is Joseph House, held every Monday evening, where we welcome and support McKendree University students through fellowship, meals, and faith-centered community. We are also blessed with many active ministries, offering opportunities for spiritual growth and service for all ages.

Our parish is home to a vibrant and growing PSR program, and our youth group is combined with our partner parish, Corpus Christi, creating a strong and supportive faith community for our young people. Throughout the year, we host beloved events such as Fall Fest, Trivia Night, the Lenten Fish Fry, and McKendree Into the Streets, along with additional fundraisers including raffles and silent auctions. Each summer, we also participate in the community Vacation Bible School, helping share the faith with the next generation. Guided by our mission, St. Joseph Catholic Church continues to grow as a welcoming community, reaching out in love and serving others with compassion.
